🎙️ Performance History: Celebrating 25 Years with DKD

In 1996, Oliver Klaus marked their 25th anniversary with a homecoming performance in Waterloo, Quebec—where it all began. To commemorate the occasion, the band reached out to legendary Canadian concert promoter Donald K. Donald (aka DKD), their agent during the early '70s, to share a video endorsement that would echo through the years.

The show was a tribute to time well spent and roads well traveled. In the 2000s, the band returned to Waterloo for two additional hometown performances. Maurice Singfield introduced the archival DKD clip with a warm invitation for viewers to stroll down memory lane and hear from a figure whose voice had helped shape Canadian music history.

DKD, whose career included booking giants from local icons like April Wine to global legends like The Rolling Stones, brought gravitas and heart to the occasion.
